  • 2 tbsp blue sea salt use as a finishing salt
  • 4 pieces chicken thighs bone-in, skin-on for more flavor
  • 1 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  • Rub chicken with olive oil, garlic, lemon zest, and black pepper. Let rest for 10 minutes.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken skin-side down for 5 minutes until golden.
  • Transfer chicken to an oven-safe tray and bake for 20 minutes, or until fully cooked.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle generously with blue sea salt while hot. Serve immediately.
