- 1.5 cups Granulated Sugar
- 3 large Eggs (room temperature)
- 2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 0.5 cup Sour Cream
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 0.25 cup Dutch-processed Cocoa Powder
- 3 tbsp Boiling Water
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
Cream butter and sugar for 5 minutes until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla and sour cream.
Gently fold in sifted flour, baking powder, and salt.
