  • 2 tbsp olive oil for searing
  • 4 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth low sodium preferred
  • 1 cup heavy cream for creaminess
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes for heat, optional
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, red pepper flakes, and oregano. Stir to combine.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and let simmer for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through.
  • Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
